The History of Household Items
We explored household items from the past and compared them to items we have in our house today. We then predicted what household items will be like in the future.
Ditch the Dark Day 2020
Year 4 dressed in their best bright clothes to show their support for Ditch the Dark Day. As the mornings and evenings get darker, we know it is important to dress brightly so cars can see us.
4CD have been exploring natural resources in our school grounds and used these to create natural art, build shelters, make fairy houses and play traditional games.
European Day of Languages
To celebrate European Day of Languages pupils learned a few simple phrases in French. For all their hard work they were rewarded with the opportunity to taste some french food, it went down a treat!
As part of revision week pupils completed a number of practical activities to help with recall of spellings and to recap mathematical language and number facts.
Activity Based Learning
As part of our topic ‘Home Sweet Home’ we have explored different aspects of houses such as creating floor plans, constructing houses, designing posters, using pastels to draw houses and carrying out instructions on ‘My PlayHome App’.
